Input/Output File Format Support
Source file formats, output delivery formats, and known limitations during format conversion for each product.
Engineering Drawings & Manufacturing
- Drawing Nester: Reads Creo drawings (.drw), exports to PDF and PLT, supports mixed sheet sizes in batch.
- Drawing Publisher: Read Creo drawings, export to PDF/PLT. Supports batch publishing and naming rules.
- Sheet Metal Nester: Reads DXF files of flattened sheet metal parts and generates nesting results with cutting path files.
- Pressure Vessel Designer: Reads parametric inputs to generate Creo models and accompanying engineering drawings.
BIM / IFC Classes
- IFC Editor: Read and write IFC files (supporting IFC2x3 / IFC4), with property editing and geometric correction followed by re-export.
- IFC Compare: Reads two IFC versions and generates a difference report along with a list of modified elements.
- IFC Takeoff: Read IFC files and generate a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) exportable to spreadsheet formats for further processing.
Known constraints
- Support for third-party formats (STEP, IGES, DWG) varies by product. Please validate using your actual enterprise files during the demo.
- Drawings with custom fonts or symbol libraries may experience font substitution during conversion. Verify replacement rules in advance.
- Custom entities exported from non-standard software in IFC files may be recognized as proxies; verify attribute integrity item by item.
